An arson fire that destroyed a pickup truck in Jones Valley in November led the arrest of a woman. At around 6:15AM the morning of November 27th KQMS reported on the fire in the driveway of a home on 13843 Ravine Road. Cal-Fire and Shasta County firefighters found a pickup truck fully engulfed in fire. Neighbors were trying to douse the flames with garden hoses, but the truck was completely destroyed. A suspicious vehicle was seen fleeing the area just after the fire started, and investigators determined the fire was intentionally started with an incendiary device. A reward had been offered by Secret Witness. On December 5th Cal-Fire Officers arrested 35-year-old Cassandra Poole and booked her on arson charges.
