Planning Commission To Discuss Making Changes To Redding’s Tree Ordinance

Next week the Redding Planning Commission will take a close look at the city’s tree ordinance, and they may recommend changes. Conservation groups are concerned about Redding lack of a structured fee system for mitigating the loss of trees to commercial development, particularly Oak Trees. The meeting takes place next Tuesday at 4 O’clock in the City Council Chambers. Comments may be submitted ahead of time, or at the meeting.
