Man Found With 620 Pounds Of Cannabis Sentenced To 6 Months In County Jail

A Red Bluff man who was growing a substantial amount of Cannabis and had a huge stash already harvested has been sentenced. 59-year-old Daniel Vorabout was arrested in September. He admitted to growing 731 Marijuana plants, as well as possessing a whopping 620 Pounds of processed bud. Incredibly, Vorabout claimed that all that Pot was for his own personal use. He was convicted of cultivating more than 6 plants, which is a misdemeanor, but he also had a gun and ammunition, which was a felony due to a prior conviction. Vorabout has been sentenced to 6 months in Tehama County Jail and 2 years probation.
