With the opening of the gleaming new Shasta County Superior Courthouse, the now-old courthouse will soon change hands from the state to the county. When that happens in about 3 months, the building could be converted into something else or demolished. On Tuesday the Board of Supervisors will be asked by Public Works to approve $250,000 in funding for architectural, environmental and engineering analyses before going forward with a decision.
