It was an act of vandalism that cut Internet and telephone service for this radio station and thousands of other residents and businesses in the area. At 4:35AM Tuesday morning Shasta County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to Highway 273 and Canyon Road after someone vandalized Charter Communications lines. Spectrum Internet and Verizon 4G Internet services went dark until around 10:30AM for customers in Redding, Anderson, Shasta Lake City and Palo Cedro. Deputies say they found evidence at the scene that may lead to the identification of the vandals.
