Redding City Council Member Joins Growing List Of Candidates Vying For State Assembly Seat

Redding City Council Member Tenessa Audette, who was just elected last year, has announced her intention to run for the State Assembly. The seat is being vacated by Megan Dahle, who’s seeking the State Senate seat currently held by her husband Brian Dahle, whose tenure is ending due to term limits. Audette has worked for Brian Dahle and has also been a teacher at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministries. A candidacy announcement was made a couple of weeks ago by Heather Hadwick of Alturas, who says she’s endorsed by Megan Dahle. Other candidates for the seat include Audette’s fellow Redding City Council Member Mark Mezzano, a former CHP Sergeant, and Anderson City Council Member Melissa Hunt, a former teacher. Brian Dahle, who lost a run for Governor against Gavin Newsom last year, has not said if he has any future political ambitions.
