A prescribed burn planned for east of Redding Thursday, has been postponed to next week. The Latour Vegetation Treatment Project is located east of Whitmore in the Latour State Demonstration Forest. The goal is to reduce fuels for wildfires and provide live fire training for new personnel. If weather conditions are right, Cal-Fire plans to torch 140 acres next Tuesday.
