A case is moving along against three teenagers for the alleged gang-related killing of a 16-year-old boy in Red Bluff in September of last year. On Tuesday 16-year-old Ryan Scott Piper admitted to voluntary manslaughter and was ordered to serve the maximum of 5 years in a secure youth treatment facility. Piper was just 15 at the time of the murder. Trial dates are pending against 17-year-old Blake Michael Bush of Redding and 19-year-old Nathon Olney Reep, who was the alleged triggerman. He’s charged with first degree murder and could face life in prison without parole.
