19-Year-Old Pleads Guilty To Stabbing Woman At Homeless Camp

A Red Bluff teenager has pleaded guilty to attempted murder for repeatedly stabbing a 50-year-old homeless woman. 19-year-old Chuslum Buckskin had previously pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity. Last August Buckskin and a 14-year-old juvenile accomplice shouted that they hate homeless people as they stabbed Rosie Marie Lander more than 40 times. She had been in her tent in an open space near Crosby Lane and Spyglass Drive in a homeless camp when the attack occurred in broad daylight. Sentencing is set for May 31st.
