There was a fatal crash in Red Bluff Friday afternoon. Just after 1:30PM, the 18-year-old driver of a Ford Escape was on South Jackson Street when he crossed over the center line at Snow Mountain Way and smashed head on into a Honda SUV coming the other way. Red Bluff Fire personnel had to use Jaws of Life to extricate both drivers. They were both taken to Saint Elizabeth Hospital. The 18-year-old was in stable condition at last word. The 34-year-old man driving the Honda was pronounced dead.
