The Park Fire is 57% contained after burning 429,400 acres. All evacuation orders and warnings have been lifted. Roads have all reopened except for Highway 89 between Summit Lake and Highway 36. 637 structures have been confirmed destroyed. There have still been no fatalities or injuries. The fire was started on July 24th when a man allegedly pushed a burning car into a brush-filled ravine in Upper Bidwell Park in Chico. Crews continue to patrol for hot spots, remove hazardous trees and work on mop up. There are nearly 3,900 personnel still on scene.
