Residents of Cottonwood can get rid of some trash for free this Saturday. Up to one pickup truck load of normal household waste, scrap metal, e-waste and appliances can be disposed of at no charge. No hazardous waste, liquid waste, batteries, fluorescent lights, tires, concrete, dirt or large amounts of green waste will be accepted. Only Cottonwood residents will be allowed, and must provide proof of residency. The free disposal day is this Saturday from 9AM to 1PM at the American Legion Post at 3297 Chestnut Street.
