Thursday is the annual Redding Area Bus Authority Salute to Veterans Donation Drive. RABA provides free bus passes to veterans who request one. Money raised Thursday will help with the program and the Shasta County Veterans Service Office to help veterans who need transportation. The event goes until 3 O’clock at three locations: the Cornerstone Community Bank Branches on Hartnell Avenue in the Cobblestone Center and on Ventura Street in Anderson, as well as at 4305 Shasta Dam Boulevard in Shasta Lake City.
