APD Arrests Bay Area Man After Traffic Stop Early Thursday

A man from Morgan Hill was arrested in Anderson after a fix-it ticket led to several other charges. 62-year-old David Lennon was stopped by the APD near North and Ventura Streets at 12:20AM Thursday for having an obstructed license plate. After Rip the K9 sniffed around, a usable amount of Meth was allegedly found in Lennon’s pocket. That led to the alleged discovery of a $2,700 mountain bike stolen from San Jose and a 12 gauge shotgun with shells that Lennon is not supposed to have because of prior felonies.
