APD Makes Two Arrests After Locating Stolen Car

A couple of suspected thieves were arrested Friday morning by Anderson Police. An officer found a car that was stolen from Red Bluff near Pinon and Hemlock Avenues. Jeremiah Setzer and Christa Prinz started walking away when they saw the police and they were detained, though Setzer gave a false name. Riggs the K9 alerted on Prinz’s bags, where officers reported finding syringes, other drug paraphernalia and credit cards with someone else’s name on them. Riggs then sniffed around for the keys to the stolen car and found 3 credit cards with Setzer’s name on them. That’s when officers learned who he was and that he had an active warrant. Setzer and Prinz were both arrested.
