APD Makes Two Arrests After Traffic Stop For Possible DUI

Two people were arrested after Anderson Police say they found drugs during a traffic stop. Reports of a possible DUI driver brought APD to Rhonda Road, where they pulled over a car driven by Amber Walker of Corning. The passenger was 40-year-old Red Bluff parolee Steven James, though he apparently gave a false name because of an active warrant for felony evading. Officers arrested Walker on suspicion of driving while on drugs and a search reportedly revealed enough Fentanyl and Meth for charges of transporting drugs for sale.
