Anderson Police partnered with Walmart over the weekend for what they’re calling a highly successful retail theft operation. The Problem Oriented Policing Team caught six people in possession of more than $900 in stolen merchandise, and also prevented three separate pushouts of full shopping carts. The total value of the recovered goods was $2,236. Three adults and three juveniles were cited and released for shoplifting. A seventh person, Isis Hayden of Callahan, was charged with drug possession.
