Two women were arrested by Anderson Police Monday afternoon after the alleged discovery of stolen property. 33-year-old Felicia Brooke Nelson, who had a suspended license, was stopped at Ganyon and McMurry for a traffic violation. Her passenger, 30-year-old Christina Waneve Adams, apparently gave officers a fake name but eventually admitted to her identity and was found to be on probation for car theft and had an active felony warrant for failing to appear in court. The car was searched, reportedly revealing drug paraphernalia and about $1,300 worth of property stolen from a local business. Both were booked into jail and later released.
