A Redding man was arrested in Anderson Monday after the alleged discovery of drugs. A car was stopped for a traffic violation near the North Street/Ravenwood intersection and one of the passengers was identified as 44-year-old Spencer Michael Downing. He’s on felony probation for possession of Methamphetamine for sale, so officers searched him. They reported finding an Ounce and a Half of Meth, and Downing was arrested.
