Anderson’s Problem Oriented Policing Unit has been making multiple arrests through extra patrols at retail stores this holiday season. Six people were cited or arrested during an 8 hour operation last Tuesday. During a 5 hour operation over the weekend, plain clothed and uniformed officers worked with Walmart Loss Prevention to identify suspected shoplifters after the left the store. Multiple people were contacted in the parking lot and seven were arrested.
