A barn in Anderson was destroyed by fire Monday morning. It broke out at 6:40AM at a farm on Balls Ferry Road, and produced a lot of smoke as it became engulfed in flames. The owners were able to save their eleven horses from inside the barn before the fire became deadly. There were a lot of irreplaceable items lost, including valuable tack and some championship saddles. The cause is believed to have been electrical. The family hopes to rebuild the barn with help from friends, and they say they’ll start a Gofundme page in hopes of replacing some of the lost gear.
