Bonnyview Boat Ramp Reopens After February Flooding

City of Redding crews are working to restore public access to park facilities damaged by recent flooding. The Bonnyview Boat ramp has reopened to the public by way of a temporary gravel access road while repairs are made to a sunken culvert and a damaged road. Nur Pon Open Space will partially reopen soon but most of the walking loop is still off limits due to damaged bridges, boat launch areas and trails. The Parks Department hopes to open some of the damaged areas by April 1st, but a contractor will need to be hired to finish some of the work on the walking loop.
