Smoke will be seen south of Redding Monday as Cal Fire crews will be burning piles of previously cleared brush and understory materials. If weather conditions allow, the operation is set to begin at 10AM along Canyon Road south of China Gulch and north of Happy Valley Road. Drivers should be cautious of emergency personnel and equipment in that area.
