A large controlled burn that started Monday will continue to produce a lot of smoke to the southwest of Redding. The Williams Ranch Vegetation Management Project in the Platina area will be done every day through February 3rd. Crews will burn small manageable sections, with the goal of treating 800 acres before the project is done.
