Cal-Fire Plans To Burn 109 Acres Along Highway 36 West Of Red Bluff

Cal-Fire will be burning alongside Highway 36 west of Red Bluff next week. The roadside burns will eliminate vegetation that could cause trouble as wildfire danger increases. Weather permitting, next Tuesday and Wednesday nights crews will burn 109 acres along Highway 36 West from Cannon Road to Oak Knoll Drive. The project will mostly be done at night between 5PM and 7AM, and drivers should be aware of emergency vehicles along the roadside. Smoke may affect the Reeds Creek and Dibble Creek areas.
