There was a happy ending to a story out of Siskiyou County this week. On Wednesday an SUV and a big rig collided on Highway 89 near the Mount Shasta Ski Park entrance. There were two dogs in the SUV and they bolted when the crash happened. One of the dogs was quickly recovered but the other dog evaded capture until Caltrans workers returned to the scene Thursday morning. The dog was in the area and had calmed down enough that the workers were able to reunite it with it’s family.
