A teenage boy from Red Bluff was killed in a crash last Friday afternoon in Eastern Tehama County, according to the CHP. The 17-year-old was driving a 2015 Camaro on Highway 36 east of Manton Road at high speed when he made an unsafe turning movement, left the pavement and crashed into a tree. He was apparently not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car on impact, suffering major injuries. He was taken by helicopter to Mercy Hospital in Redding, where he died.
