The Red Bluff Area Office of the CHP will hold a sobriety and drivers license checkpoint Saturday night between 6PM and 1AM. The exact location is not disclosed, but it’’ll be somewhere in Tehama County, likely in an unincorporated area with a history of DUI collisions and arrests. Officers will be checking for valid drivers licenses and screening for signs of impairment from alcohol, as well as drugs. That includes illegal narcotics as well as legal drugs such as pharmaceuticals and Cannabis.
