Most parents of babies and toddlers carry their children in child safety seats, but many don’t know how to properly install those seats. An estimated 80 to 90% are not installed correctly. The CHP will hold a car seat check-up event at the CHP Office on Cascade Boulevard just north of Oasis Saturday the 8th from 7AM to Noon. The intent is not to write citations, but just to be sure seats are properly installed.
