As part of the fight against childhood cancer, classic and show car owners are encouraged to sign up now for the “Classics for a Cause” Car Show. It’ll take place Saturday September 20th at Everything Medical on Athens Avenue from 10AM to 2PM with food, beer, music and more. It’s free for spectators. Trophies will be handed out and the registration fee is a $30 donation. The previous evening, Friday the 19th, is the “Classics for a Cause” fundraiser dinner at Win River Casino. Both events will raise funds for the Alyssa Araiza Wings of Angels organization, which provides financial assistance to families with children undergoing treatment for cancer or other serious illness.
