The City of Redding is building a connection for bicyclists between the Downtown area and the Sundial Bridge. Work is being done at night through this Friday at the intersection of Trinity and Market Streets, with a new traffic signal being installed along with vehicle detector loops and new warning signs for the bike lane. The project will connect the existing bicycle track on Center Street to a route that runs along Trinity, Continental and Butte Streets. It will include a two-way cycle track, ADA curb ramps and signage. New street lights will also be installed along the route.
