Corning Teen Who Shot At Man After Altercation Sentenced To Probation

After being charged with attempted murder for shooting a man, a Corning teenager has been released on probation. In March Tehama County Deputies were sent to Rancho Tehama Reserve. Gustavo Solorio had been hospitalized with a gunshot wound to his hand and his car had several bullet holes in the windshield and the hood. He had been in a minor verbal altercation with 19-year-old Pedro Hernandez Jr. and a 16-year-old girl. When Solorio drove away Hernandez shot at him. Attempted murder charges were reduced to assault likely to produce great bodily injury. Hernandez was given a 4 year prison sentence that’s suspended on condition of 2 years probation.
