A Cottonwood home was raided Friday by Shasta County Sheriff’s Deputies, the AB109 Team and SINTF drug agents. A search warrant was served at a home on Fourth Street. There were many people in the house, but not the homeowner. 54-year-old Robert Jeffery Tyler was detained after initially ignoring deputies’ commands. He has priors that forbid him from owning guns. A search reportedly turned up a loaded shotgun, a bolt-action rifle, ammunition, methamphetamine and 6 ounces of processed cannabis, as well as stolen property taken in a recent burglary. Tyler is in jail on $25,000 bail.
