A quick response held a vegetation fire to around 2 acres in Happy Valley Wednesday. It started a little before 11AM off Happy Valley road near the Community Center. First arriving crews reported a moderate rate of spread and multiple structures threatened. Forward progress was stopped before 11:30AM.
A vegetation fire off Benson Road south of Cottonwood was held to about an acre.
