Crews Continue To Gain More Containment On The Boise Fire

The Boise Fire in Humboldt County and part of Trinity County near the Community of Orleans is 16% contained after burning more than 12,622 acres. Crews are trying to take advantage of favorable weather conditions, but terrain is very steep and inaccessible. The Six Rivers National Forest and part of the Klamath are closed to the public. A number of evacuation orders and warnings remain in effect. The cause of the Boise Fire is still under investigation.
