A vegetation fire was aggressively attacked in the Red Bluff area Tuesday. The fire was first reported at around 11:30AM off Wayne Avenue and Ridge Road. It was contained by 12:20PM after burning 3.2 acres. The cause is under investigation. Crews also extinguished a half acre fire in the area of El Camino west of Gerber.
At around 12:30PM Tuesday Happy Valley Firefighters and Cal-Fire stopped the progress of a vegetation fire off Palm Avenue and Monte Vista Road. It was held to less than an acre.
