Quick response minimized the size of a fire in a Cottonwood gated community. At 1:30PM Tuesday the Tehama-Glenn Unit of Cal-Fire, Tehama County Fire and Cottonwood Fire Department were sent to a vegetation fire in Lake California. The grass fire was held to about quarter acre. The cause is not known.
