Redding Police have continued using Shasta County Alternative Custody Program crews for clearing homeless camps. Recent areas have included Leila Avenue, Lowden Lane, the creek near Bechelli and Hartnell, Continental Street, Eastside Road, Canby, Browning, Churn Creek Road and Veda Street. At Kapusta Park off Latona road over 7,000 Pounds of debris was removed. Crews have removed more than 68,000 pounds of material from various places during October.
