A car crashed and went up in flames west of Redding overnight. At 11:25PM the CHP and Cal-Fire responded to Swasey Drive just north of Red Bluff Road for a 2020 Mustang that had crashed into a ditch. It was fully engulfed in flames, and firefighters held the spread to about a quarter acre of vegetation. The driver apparently suffered minor injuries.
