Davis On Edge After Multiple Brazen Stabbings Leave 2 Dead

Residents of a Northern California university town are on edge after three people were stabbed within a week, including two fatally. Davis Police Chief Darren Pytel says a homeless woman is in critical condition after being stabbed several times through her tent Monday. He says a homeless man and a college student were stabbed to death. The police chief says the attacks were brazen and brutal and out of character for the city. He says it’s unclear if the same suspect is responsible for all three stabbings in the downtown area. Davis includes the University of California, Davis campus. The FBI is assisting.
