Redding Police are investigating after the discovery of a decomposed human body near the Ribbon Bridge of the Sacramento River Trail. An off-duty Bureau of Land Management employee found the body at 7:30AM Tuesday morning in an area concealed by thick woods. Police say no suspicious activity or evidence of foul play has been found. The Coroners Office will work with the CSU Chico Anthropology Department to try and identify the remains.
