Although it’s been in service for a couple of months, a dedication ceremony is set for Thursday for Shasta County’s new courthouse. The six story 173,000 square foot building had been under construction for five years, and is now the largest building in the downtown area. Everyone is invited to a formal public dedication of the new $175 Million courthouse taking place Thursday evening from 5:30 to 7PM.
