Burglars who broke into a Shingletown home were caught on video and two suspects were quickly captured. At 1:38AM Thursday Shasta County Sheriff”s Deputies were called to a house on Wilson Hill Road. They were met by the person responsible for the house, who showed them that windows had been broken and property was taken. After deputies took the report and left, they saw a suspicious-looking occupied vehicle near Highway 44 and Tompata Trail. Upon contacting the occupants, the deputies suspicions grew stronger and they reportedly found goods in the vehicle that had been taken in the burglary, as well as Methamphetamine. 24-year-old Shaylene Miller-Cervanttes of Shasta Lake City is in jail on $75,000 bail and 36-year-old Michael Chandler of Palo Cedro is being held on $25,000 bail.
