Disaster Relief Cash Cards Available For Victims Of The Park Fire

The California Fire Foundation has stepped up for people affected by the Park Fire. The non-profit organization was established in 1987 by the California Professional Firefighters. Through cooperative efforts with local non-profits, they provide disaster relief cash cards worth $250 each to survivors for immediate needs like food, gas and lodging. In the case of the Park Fire, the CFF has partnered with Northern Valley Catholic Social Services to distribute 1,300 of the cards with a total value of $325,000. The foundation has also donated $15,000 to NVCSS for operational costs and $10,000 to the United Way of Northern California to help with their 211 Norcal Referral Program.
