Trial dates have been set for a man accused of murdering two people in Oak Run. In November of 2021, the bodies of Meba Getachew of Ashland and Gunnar Yeager of Medford were found next to two parked vehicles on a dirt road off of Zig Zag Lane, which is off Oak Run To Fern Road. Both victims had been shot to death. 39-year-old Simon Abraham Tikue was arrested in September of last year. He’s charged with two counts of murder and two counts of second degree robbery. A jury trial is set to begin February 6th. Tikue is being held without bail.
