Drive-Through Flu Shot Clinic Planned For Saturday In South Redding

It’s that time of year to get an annual flu shot. Public Health is recommending a flu shot for everyone 6 months and older, especially for young children, people 50 and over, those with compromised immune systems and pregnant women. The vaccine causes antibodies to develop about two weeks after vaccination, so the CDC recommends getting the flu shot before the end of October. Free standard flu shots are available during a drive-through clinic this Saturday the 19th from 10AM to 1PM at 2650 Breslauer Way in South Redding. Pre-registration can be done at shastaflushots.com.
