Some people attempt dangerous driving tricks when they’re in the worst condition to do so. 21-year-old Dylan Sides was driving at high speed down Monroe Street in Red Bluff when he slammed on his brakes to try to spin the car around 180 degrees. Instead, his car crashed head-on into another car with four occupants, all of whom were seriously injured. Sides had bottles of booze in his car, including an open container. His blood alcohol level tested .20. Convicted of felony DUI causing great bodily injury, sides has been sentenced to 5 years 4 months in state prison.
