Anderson Police will hold a sobriety checkpoint Friday between 6PM and 2AM. The exact location is not disclosed, but it’ll be somewhere in Anderson City Limits with a history of DUI arrests. Officers will be looking for signs of impairment from alcohol, as well as drugs. Earlier this month the APD announced that they had been granted over $22,000 by the CHP Cannabis Tax Fund to use for this very purpose.
