A local employer is accused of continually sexually assaulting an underage employee. Redding Police Detectives say the girl, whose age is not available, eventually quit after two months of being sexually assaulted while she was working. 52-year-old Jesus Ramos-Maldanado was arrested Thursday, and reportedly admitted to detectives that the allegations were true and that he knew the girl’s age as well. Police have not named the business. Some people posting on social media have named a local restaurant but that hasn’t been confirmed. Ramos-Maldanado is charged with lewd and lascivious acts with a child and sexual battery.
