Southbound Interstate 5 was closed just north of Willows for an extended time Thursday after a collision between two big rigs. The crash was reported at 2:17PM and as the CHP was trying to coordinate the closure and detours, another collision occurred. At least one person died. Lanes finally reopened just before 8:30PM Thursday night.
